Stop Playing Washington’s game is the key.
Playing their game has only allowed the system to cheat the people while they gain in power. It is like a tug a war contest where two sides are pulling for power.
In our case, the system has had us in this tug a war game for so long wearing us down where they play dirty while they say we have to play by the rules they written.
So I ask, what are our options with this tug a war game? Do we keep pulling the rope knowing they will cheat with one set of rules for them and another set of rules for us that is designed to make us lose in the end? Do we drop the rope walking away saying we are not playing their game anymore?

Why is there so little trust in the mainstream media these days? CNN ratings have been hovering close to record lows over the past few months. A recent Gallup survey found that 60 percent of all Americans "have little or no trust" in the mainstream media. That was a record high according to Gallup. So why is this happening?
Sadly, the truth is that the mainstream media quit telling the truth a long time ago. The mainstream media has an agenda, and more Americans than ever are beginning to recognize this. Once upon a time, control of the news in the United States was at least somewhat decentralized. But now there are just six giant media corporations that control almost everything that we see, hear and watch. The version of "the news" that they give us is designed to serve the interests of those corporate giants and the other corporate giants that spend billions of dollars to advertise their products through those outlets.

The six corporations that collectively control U.S. media today are Time Warner, Walt Disney, Viacom, Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., CBS Corporation and NBC Universal. Together, the "big six" absolutely dominate news and entertainment in the United States. But even those areas of the media that the "big six" do not completely control are becoming increasingly concentrated. For example, Clear Channel now owns over 1000 radio stations across the United States. Companies like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft are increasingly dominating the Internet.
But it is the "big six" that are the biggest concerns. When you control what Americans watch, hear and read you gain a great deal of control over what they think. They don't call it "programming" for nothing.

According to his mother, Robinson was working at a muffin shop while also trying to make additional money by hawking items like paving stones to scrap dealers.
The bill, which the British Daily Mail characterized as “a brutal blood-money demand,” was dated September 27, with the reason for the $710 being listed as “property damage to a vehicle owned by the New York Police Department.”
The bill added that the family would be facing a lawsuit if they failed to pay within 10 days of receiving it.
“We’re still grieving, and this is like a slap in the face,” said Laverne Dobbinson, Robinson’s 45-year-old mother, to the New York Daily News.

Why Do Supporters of Genetically Engineered Foods Insist on Organics for Their Own Families?
Over the past few years, an interesting pattern has emerged, where political supporters of genetically engineered (GE) foods are feasting on organics, while promoting unlabeled GE foods for everyone else.
Most recently, Mother Jones1 discussed how Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney – whose ties to Monsanto go back to the late 1970's when GE crops were still in the R&D phase – reportedly makes sure his own meals are nothing but organic...
The Obama White House may be even more progressive about healthful dining than previous Presidents. In a 2008 article about First Lady Michelle Obama, published in The New Yorker:8
"...One morning, during a roundtable at Ma Fischer's, a diner in Milwaukee, Elizabeth Crawford, a recently divorced caterer with two children, brought up the subject of the eating habits of American families. 'I really, really hope that Barack will jump on that,' she said.
Then, having given thoughtful but boilerplate responses most of the morning, [Michelle] Obama suddenly departed from her script. It was the most animated I saw her on the campaign trail. 'You know,' she said, 'in my household, over the last year we have just shifted to organic for this very reason. And you start reading the labels and you realize there's high-fructose corn syrup in everything we're eating. Every jelly, every juice. Everything that's in a bottle or a package is like poison in a way that most people don't even know..."
It's important to realize that getting this law passed in California would have the same overall effect as a national law, as large companies are not likely going to label their products as genetically engineered when sold in California (the 8th largest economy in the world), but not when sold in other states. Doing so would be a costly PR disaster. So please, I urge you to get involved and help in any way you can, regardless of what state you live in.

Rarely do we ever delve into the space of politics and foreign policy, despite being situated in the nerve center of Pax Americana. We find the independence granted to us through such detachment to be worth more than the benefits of opining on matters of state. We leave that to the Fox News' of the world.
But tonight two candidates vying for the presidency in 2012 take the stage in what has become an annual circus of sorts for political pundits, and a source of indigestion for the rest of us. Today we have a guest who forecasts trends, not just economic, but political, geopolitical, social and cultural. It is a good opportunity, therefore, for us to break our silence on matters of state, and offer an opinion or two, for whatever they are worth. It appears to us that somewhere, somehow, America veered wildly off track.
After a great depression that lasted, on and off, for more than a decade, Americans were plunged into a World War that saw roughly 60 million dead from a global population of just over 2 billion people. These numbers, though estimates, are nonetheless staggering by any contemporary measure. The economic devastation, of course, was immeasurable. And so, Americans returned from the war to the only industrialized nation left standing unscathed: their own - the United States. It was the beginning of a multi-decade boom for a country of hardened men and women, and after 15 years of peace, they elected the first president from their own generation, John F. Kennedy.
Months before his assassination in Dallas Kennedy spoke at American University, in Washington DC. In his famous speech he announced plans for the development of the Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty, and his decision to unilaterally suspend all atmospheric testing of nuclear weapons. It was a bold step towards peace, and one that was not unilaterally popular, certainly not amongst those who derived purpose, as well as profit, from war. In his speech, president Kennedy stated:
"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children--not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women--not merely peace in our time but peace for all time. "
We have become so obsessed with security, that we have conflated it with peace. JFK understood the difference between these two, which is why he identified "the security of the slave," as a false prophet for peace. He spoke of "a peace that makes life worth living" not a peace that comes with a state of perpetual war, perpetual fear, and an ever shrinking world of opportunity and freedom. There was constructive action in his remarks about peace, whereas today, it seems that all the talk of peace involves surrender in every place but the battlefield.
But, not everyone has been so dulled by the propaganda abounding on matters of war and peace. Many out there are committed to freedom AND peace; those who believe we can have BOTH, despite the false claims of flag waving, armchair generals. Documents the ACLU released today show police are using a 1986 law intended to tell police what phone numbers were dialed for far more invasive surveillance: monitoring of whom specific social-network users communicate with, what Internet addresses they’re connecting from, and perhaps even “likes” and “+1″‘s.

On Tuesday, a federal appeals court ruled that the US government can indefinitely detain anyone under the National Defense Authorization Act. This comes as a blow to the ruling that was given earlier this year, when US District Court Judge Catherine Forrest ruled that the NDAA was unconstitutional. We actually believe that those in government care about our countries. We are easily distracted from truth by the divisive dramas used to divert our attention.

We send our loved ones to provide muscle and die for multi-national corporations. We wave flags to welcome them home if they are lucky to return alive. If they are not so lucky, we drape their coffins with the colors of the gangs that killed them. We are led around like livestock, by our noses, believing that the fight is for freedom.
Freedom? The irony is that all we need freedom from are the ones pushing the notion that we are not free. When will we wake up? If we want to thank the military personnel for their service perhaps we should stop beating the war drums and bring them home, alive, to their families.

Where did we lose our way? When did we lose our ability to question authority and demand straight answers? In today's society, people are quaking in their boots, hoping they get to keep their cars and houses just one more month. Is that the life we really want?
The ruling elite are a small percentage of this earth's population and we have given them our power. We have given away our souls for more television channels, cheaper useless products, and the empty promise of a better future. Will we continue to be deceived or are we ready to wake up and take our power back? The choice is yours. The time to decide has come.

Blowing the Whistle, Food Safety Expert Knew About GMO Dangers Years Ago
Dr. Arpad Pusztai evoked worldwide media attention in August 1998, when he said in British TV that he would not eat genetically engineered food because of the insufficient testing procedures they have undergone.
Pusztai is a world renowned expert on food safety, who worked at UK's leading food safety research lab, the Rowett institute. His statement obviously threatened to damage the then ongoing multimillion PR campaign of the Biotech industry to create public confidence in GE foods. A few days after his public appearance he was suspended and gagged by the research institute where he worked.

Monsanto Dishes Out $4.2 Million to Squash California GMO Labeling Initiative
NOTE: The amount of money that was spent to defeat the subject matter SHOULD be higher now.
You see, if people actually knew that they were consuming genetically modified ingredients, they would stop buying the engineered products on a massive scale.
Monsanto simply cannot have that, which is why it is doing its best to squash any possibility of a successful labeling initiative (along with a conglomerate of corporate entities).
It is already well known that the general public is highly supportive of GMO labeling in general, with many polls finding that around 93% of the population is supportive of knowing what is in their food. Monsanto obviously does not care much about the general public, however, as exemplified by the company’s utter lack of concern over public health and baseline human rights. And if over 90% of support is not enough, then there is the Just Label it Campaign. While the actual end result of the mission is debatable, the massive support is not.

Lisa Garber ~ New Study Confirms GMO Crops Causing More Pesticide Use, Superweeds
Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) require more pesticide use on crops, say the authors of a 16-year study published in Environmental Sciences Europe. According to the researchers, 527 million pounds of a toxic herbicide have inundated farmlands since 1996. What’s more, this abhorrent amount is much greater than that promised by Monsanto, which claims that GM crops require smaller doses of herbicides like the company’s best-selling Roundup Ready.
This study found, however, that although farmers did reduce Roundup Ready use by 2 percent between 1996 and 1999, herbicide use resurged with a vengeance thereafter. This was a result of the emergence of “superweeds” that resist herbicides, requiring farmers to use more of it with each application.

GMO-pushing 'No on 37' campaign forced to pull TV ads after caught blatantly lying
In a bizarre development on the fight for Proposition 37 (the GMO labeling initiative) in California, the "No on 37" campaign, funded by Monsanto and other agribusiness giants, has been forced to pull one of its own television ads.
The ad featured an opinion from an individual identified on screen as "Dr. Henry I. Miller M.D., Stanford University, founding dir. FDA Office of Technology."
But the title was a lie! Just like everything else about GMOs, it's all truly a bunch of lies based on fraud and trickery. As it turns out, Dr. Henry Miller doesn't work for Stanford University at all. He's actually a "research fellow" at the Hoover Institution, which just happens to be physically located on the same plot of land as Stanford University.
Total violation of Stanford University rules
Not only did the No on 37 campaign blatantly lie about Henry Miller's title, they also blatantly violated Stanford University's rules against taking sides on ballot measures. Stanford also prohibits any filming on its campus.
You see, the No on 37 campaign, just like Monsanto and the biotech industry, doesn't care about any rules. They just run around violating everything -- including Mother Nature -- and they bully their way into the food supply where their products end up being sold by even "natural" grocers such as Whole Foods.

Headlines: Another Phony Employment Report
Today’s employment report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows 114,000 new jobs in September and a drop in the rate of unemployment from 8.1% to 7.8%. As 114,000 new jobs are not sufficient to stay even with population growth, the drop in the unemployment rate is the result of not counting discouraged workers who are defined away as “not in the labor force.”
According to the BLS, “In September, 2.5 million persons were marginally attached to the labor force.” These individuals “wanted and were available for work,” but “they were not counted as unemployed because they had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding the survey.”
In other words, 2.5 million unemployed Americans were not counted as unemployed.

Time to name all the dead in Afghanistan: how many civilians have been killed?
David Cameron has never mentioned the name of a single Afghan killed, the majority of whom have been ordinary civilians caught in the middle of the West's war on one of the world's poorest countries.
European Phoenix -- The BBC and other media publish accurate statistics, updated immediately, for every British soldier killed in Afghanistan, usually with a potted biography giving details of age, home town, marital status, number of children and so on.
Neither has Barack Obama -- not even one of the 16 civilians killed on 11 March 2012 -- nine of them children -- who were slaughtered by an American soldier, who then burnt their bodies. We soon learned the name of US Staff Sgt Robert Bales -- who did the killing -- as the media was full of every conceivable detail about the man and his life. But not even the names of those he killed, were thought newsworthy -- which is why Stop the War published them a week after the massacre.
Nor did Obama have anything to tell us about the eight women and girls killed by a US airstrike on 15 September 2012 while they were collecting firewood.

I remember cuing up a US Predator strike before deciding the computer screen wasn't depicting a Taliban insurgent burying an improvised explosive device in the road; rather, a child playing in the dirt.
The Pentagon operates about 7,000 drones and asked Congress for nearly $5bn for drones in the 2012 budget. Before retiring as air force chief of staff, General Norton Schwartz was reported as saying it "was 'conceivable' drone pilots in the air force would outnumber those in cockpits in the foreseeable future". That's not a brave new world, far from it.
The encroachment of drones into the civilian realm is also gaining momentum. President Obama signed a federal law on 14 February 2012, allowing drones for a variety of commercial uses and for police law enforcement. The skies above may never be the same. As with most of America's darker elements, such as its gun culture, there's profit to be made – the market for drones is already valued at $5.9bn and is expected to double in 10 years.

If my information is correct, why hasn't someone tried to tell the American people that members of the CFR control our nation? Richard Harwood, the former National Editor of The Washington Post, tried to expose the CFR's control of our government in an article that was published in The Washington Post on October 30, 1993, but the article was buried on page 21, and very few people are aware of Richard Harwood's effort to expose the sinister cabal. October Surprise: News Events that Influence the Outcome of the U.S. Presidential Election

In American political jargon, an October surprise is a news event with the potential to influence the outcome of an election, particularly one for the U.S. presidency. The reference to the month of October is because the Tuesday after the first Monday in November is the date for national elections (as well as many state and local elections), and therefore events that take place in late October have greater potential to influence the decisions of prospective voters.
The term came into use shortly after the 1972 presidential election between Republican incumbent Richard Nixon and Democrat George McGovern, when the United States was in the fourth year of negotiations to end the very long and domestically divisive Vietnam War. Twelve days before the election day of November 7, on October 26, 1972, the United States' chief negotiator, the presidential National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger, appeared at a press conference held at the White House and announced, "We believe that peace is at hand". [1] Nixon, despite having vowed to end the unpopular war during his presidential election campaign four years earlier, had failed to either cease hostilities or gradually bring about an end to the war. Nixon was nevertheless already widely considered to be assured of an easy reelection victory against McGovern, but Kissinger's "peace is at hand" declaration may have increased Nixon's already high standing with the electorate. In the event, Nixon outpolled McGovern in every state except Massachusetts and achieved a 20 point lead in the nationwide popular vote. The fighting ended in 1973, but soldiers remained in Vietnam until 1975.
Since that election, the term "October surprise" has been used preemptively during campaign season by partisans of one side to discredit late-campaign news by the other side.
During the Iran hostage crisis, the Republican challenger Ronald Reagan feared a last-minute deal to release the hostages, which might earn incumbent Jimmy Carter enough votes to win re-election in the 1980 presidential election. [2][3] As it happened, in the days prior to the election, press coverage was consumed with the Iranian government's decision—and Carter's simultaneous announcement—that the hostages would not be released until after the election. [3]
It was first written about in a Jack Anderson article in the Washington Post in the fall of 1980, in which he alleged that the Carter administration was preparing a major military operation in Iran for rescuing U.S. hostages in order to help him get reelected. Subsequent allegations surfaced against Reagan alleging that his team had impeded the hostage release to negate the potential boost to the Carter campaign.[4]
After the release of the hostages on January 20, 1981, literally twenty minutes following Reagan's inauguration, some charged that the Reagan campaign had made a secret deal with the Iranian government whereby the Iranians would hold the hostages until after Reagan was elected and inaugurated.[3]
Gary Sick, member of the National Security council under Presidents Ford and Carter (before being relieved of his duties mere weeks into Reagan's term)[5] made the accusation in a New York Times editorial[6] in the run-up to the 1992 election. The initial bipartisan response from Congress was skeptical: House Democrats refused to authorize an inquiry, and Senate Republicans denied a $600,000 appropriation for a probe.
Eight former hostages also sent an open letter demanding an inquiry in 1991.[6] In subsequent Congressional testimony, Sick said that the popular media had distorted and misrepresented the accusers, reducing them to "gross generalizations" and "generic conspiracy theorists." Sick penned a book on the subject and sold the movie rights to it for a reported $300,000.[7] His sources and thesis were contested by a number of commentators on both sides of the aisle. [8][9]
Bani-Sadr, the former President of Iran, has also stated "that the Reagan campaign struck a deal with Teheran to delay the release of the hostages in 1980," asserting that "by the month before the American Presidential election in November 1980, many in Iran's ruling circles were openly discussing the fact that a deal had been made between the Reagan campaign team and some Iranian religious leaders in which the hostages' release would be delayed until after the election so as to prevent President Carter's re-election"[10] He repeated the charge in "My Turn to Speak: Iran, the Revolution & Secret Deals with the U.S."[11][12]
Two separate congressional investigations looked into the charges, both concluding that there was no plan to seek to delay the hostages' release.[3] At least three books have argued the case.[13]

Washington set to increase aid to Syrian insurgents, US official says
A senior United States official has said Washington is set to unveil measures for increased assistance to armed groups in Syria.
The unnamed State Department official said in New York On Tuesday that the US assistance will not include weapons or ammunition, AFP reported.
"We've been clear about our assistance and the type of assistance we are providing and that is going to continue," the official said, after US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met UN-Arab League peace envoy Lakhdar Brahimi.
Clinton will preside over the meeting of the so-called "Friends of Syria" group scheduled to be held on Friday.

US repeats nuclear bomb allegations against Iran
US President Barack Obama has once again accused Iran of seeking a nuclear weapon and of failing to meet its international obligations.
He made the remarks at the Opening of the General Debate of the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly at the world body’s headquarters in New York on Tuesday.
Obama also said that Washington would prefer to resolve the dispute with Tehran over its nuclear energy program through diplomacy.
“America wants to resolve this issue through diplomacy, and we believe that there is still time and space to do so,” he said, adding that the United States and its allies will do everything they can “to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.”
The US, Israel, and some of their allies accuse Iran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear energy program.
Iran rejects the allegations, arguing that as a committed signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), it has the right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
In addition, the IAEA has conducted numerous inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities but has never found any evidence showing that Iran's civilian nuclear program has been diverted to nuclear weapons production.
